1.Some main points I
found within the article were the two approaches in the reform of the K-12
education, the curriculum design 6 principles, and factors that help aid the
curriculum design. These main points do work together with the approach to the
teacher preparation program. The changes to direction in teachers and how they
can be apart of voicing their opinion with expressing their knowledge of
experiences in training. The two approaches set off the designing and
redesigning in the supportive range of curriculum design. The learning
technologies of reforming pre-service education and in service training shapes
how important it is to have a team that is faculty led with initiative to support
the reform methods commitment. Changing the curriculum design takes dedication,
determination, driven set skills between all individuals to do their parts in
the reforming process to practice teaching.
I do agree with the
article, this is what I am experiencing now at my school with curriculum design
change. This is my first year teaching a full class instead of virtual class.
Having a core team, early efforts in understanding, and being organized and
trained on a curriculum design change takes full commitment in being ready and
